YOUTH RESOURCE CENTER FUNDRAISER
Agape Haven of Abundance is as devoted as ever to empowering our community. However, we have outgrown our current building and no longer have the capacity to serve the community, especially when we are forced to host all programs indoors in the winter. As it is now, we are based in a single residential house, but what we need is a commercial-sized, multi-purpose community center. As such, we have decided to start a fundraiser to expand our building into a community center which will allow us to host additional facilities.
EXPANSION PROJECT:
A multi-purpose community room to serve food, provide after-school programming, and host work-based learning experiences to our community members.
A kitchen to prepare hot meals and teach educational nutritional classes.
A laundry room will create an opportunity to teach valuable, practical life skills while washing clothes.
A storage room for our extra materials.
Another bathroom to accommodate for the increased capacity.
A handicap entrance to more easily welcome disabled community members.
A greenhouse to grow and harvest plants all year round.
An acute wellness clinic to create partnerships with medical students to provide health services to the community.
